Role Overview:

Join our client’s dynamic, career-focused IT team at a leading steel manufacturing company as Assistant Manager IT Security based at their factory, Karachi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security of the organization’s IT infrastructure by developing security policies, conducting risk assessments, responding to incidents, and educating staff on best practices. If you are passionate about IT security and staying updated on the latest security threats, this role is for you.



Key Responsibilities:

1. Security Policy Development: Develop and implement security policies and procedures to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the organization’s information assets.
2. Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify security threats and implement mitigation strategies.
3. Incident Response: Respond to security incidents efficiently to ensure minimal impact and quick recovery.
4. Vulnerability Monitoring: Regularly monitor the organization’s IT environment for vulnerabilities and ensure that appropriate security measures are in place.
5. Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest security threats and trends to ensure the organization is prepared for any emerging risks.
6. Employee Education: Educate employees on security best practices and foster a culture of security awareness.
7. Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to prioritize and embed security into the organizational culture.

Qualifications:

• Education: Minimum Graduation in Computer Science
• Experience: 3-5 years in IT security roles
